Shreya is the Director of Circle Academies at RegenMed, leading the development of various clinical study topics, moderating content in collaboration with existing Academy members, and recruiting new members to contribute to discussions and the sharing of knowledge to advance medical research.
In the summer of 2022, Shreya was an Analyst Intern at RegenMed, in which she managed the development of the Circle Academies platform. She additionally assisted in data analysis of clients' clinical studies and scientific writing for content creation.
Shreya has prior experience in biological data analytics, management, and bioinformatics. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a Certification in Technology Management. She also earned a Certification in Applied Bioinformatics.
Since 2021, Shreya has been involved in research at the university's Simpson Lab, where she investigated neuronal pathways in fruit flies using machine learning image analysis to uncover their control over motor program selection and behavior in hopes of future application to higher organisms.
She was also a researcher at UC San Diego Health Moores Cancer Center, studying pediatric tumor immunology of pancreatic adenocarcinoma, lung carcinoma, and neuroblastoma.
