Intra-articular PRP injections have been shown to alleviate pain and improve function for 6 months for patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). Despite the long-standing efficacious use of PRP injections, the use of PRP for knee OA is a relatively new treatment option for patients residing in the Republic of Singapore. This Circle unites Singaporean orthopedic surgeons in the standardization of effectiveness and safety of PRP injections for knee OA. This Circle captures patient-reported data related to knee pain, function, and stiffness prior to and following a one-time treatment of PRP for 12 months. The Circle also collects clinically pertinent data to inform clinical decision-making.
