The CMS Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program (IQR) recently included performance measures for elective total hip arthroplasty procedures.  Under CMS guidelines, hospitals must collect and submit data on more than 50 percent of eligible patients to maximize reimbursements.  This Circle streamlines patient and clinician data collection to evaluate improvements in quality of life by reducing pain and improving function for patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty procedures.  The aggregated dataset will allow physicians to evaluate certain quantitative benchmarks under the IQR for reimbursement.
